The film

A life built for one challenge

Journey to the 100 Man Fight tells Judd’s incredible story of lifelong dedication to martial arts and his attempt at the 100 Man Kumite in the twilight of his fight career. It follows his training from the five-storey WKO world headquarters in Thailand under master Sifu Ian McInnes as he explains what led him to undertake such a difficult challenge.

Interviews with his teachers, colleagues, family, friends and training partners paint a picture of who Judd is and where he comes from. How did a kid from Melbourne end up living in Japan, training under his idol, and later living in a world-class facility in Thailand surrounded by champions?

Watch the film and follow the life he leads as he prepares for what many martial arts elders consider the ultimate challenge of the spirit.

An inspirational story of courage and commitment

IMDb’s listing sums the film up as Judd Reid’s journey to the 100 man fight. Viewers write about a humble fighter, serious training, and a kumite that is as much a spiritual test as a physical one. The running time is under an hour, and the fights are shown in short, hard pieces rather than all 100 rounds.
